The Sarracenia "Kew Gardens" is a unique, medium-height pitcher plant created by crossing Sarracenia alabamensis and Sarracenia flava var. rubricorpora.

This is the darkest pitcher plant we have. New leaves start out a deep red in color. By late autumn, these mature leaves turn almost entirely black. (Perfect for a goth garden or to grow in contrast with a bright green pitcher plant)

The leaves typically grow 17-19 inches tall. The hoods measure about 2-3 inches wide. It makes a dense cluster of dark, dramatic leaves.
