Red Live Sphagnum moss, Sphagnum capillifolium, aka Small Red Peat Moss, is an eye catching red form of Sphagnum. Color varies light to very dark red, almost black. These clones are from maroon (dark red) selections. Less light typically goes more green.

Looks great on top of soil, in bogs or plant pots. Just add your live moss to some carnivorous plant soil and keep watered and you will grow out your own colony of sphagnum moss before you know it. (That's why we have to sell some, it's everywhere).
