Hunter Flytraps "Jagged O' Lantern" (MM x MM 2020 #2) is a FTS Maroon Monster x Maroon Monster 2020 plant from seed, cross pollinated by our best breeding stock MM mother plants in June 2020.

Get a very healthy unique typical that could eventually, easily be, or should be, it's own cultivar. One of a kind plants, very limited quantity.

These plants exhibit similar characteristics to FTS Maroon Monster, with some nuances, as offspring of MM cultivar parents.

Differences from normal FTS MM observed include:  Jagged O' Lantern (MM20 #2) plants are more green than FTS MM, with Maroon hues on petioles and outside of traps with dark maroon like mouths. The cilia are triangular with some additional little spiked teeth between, reminding us of a jagged toothed Jack O lantern, hence the name. Different seasons seem to produce more cilia variation than most VFT, reminding us of Jaws trait and Jaws could feasibly be a parent.

These are not true FTS Maroon Monster clones, these are considered "typicals" and are not a registered cultivar. You will receive a mature plant of one of the various offspring, individually labeled from the plants each originated, since all are technically unique.

Your plant resides within a 3" pot with a velvety layer of either New Zealand Long Fiber Sphagnum Moss or a silky Peat/perlite/sand mixture in water tray with care tag. You may also receive stickers and other possibly shameless self promotional materials.
