Tropical Annual Sundew

Light:

Full to partial sun. A sunny windowsill or grow lights work well. Bright light helps produce sticky dew.

Water:

Keep soil moist. Sit the pot in a tray of distilled, rain, or RO water. Avoid tap water.

Soil:

Use a mix of peat moss and perlite (2:1 or 1:1). No fertilizers or garden soil.

Temperature:

Prefers warmth but tolerates cooler temps. Protect from frost.

Humidity:

Optional, but a terrarium helps.

Feeding:

Feeds on insects. Can supplement with tiny bugs, dried bloodworms, or fish food.

Note:

An annual that may live longer with good care. Removing flower stalks or feeding well can extend its life.
