Drosera Binata 'Dichotoma Giant'

Drosera Binata 'Dichotoma Giant' lives up to it's name! This dewd is HUGE! Some "H" shaped leaves become over 1ft.

Binata Type Sundew Instructions. 

Light 

Full sun, minimum of 6-8 hours of direct sunlight outdoors. Indoors under lights you'll need 10-12 hours of light. If on a windowsill, East-facing in the summer, South-facing in the winter. 

Water

Sit in 1 inch of water using a plastic or fully sealed ceramic dish. Use distilled, reverse osmosis or rain water. 

Soil 

General carnivorous plant soil mix will do. 

1 part peat, 2 parts perlite, 1/2 part sand. 

Temperature

Try to keep between 40°- 85° 

They can tolerate a short freeze, it will die back but regrow from the roots. Tolerates high temps, but not as dewy in the day heat.

Notes

1/4 strength maxsea fertilizer can be used as a foliar spray. 

You can also supplement feed any indoor plants bloodworms or other insects. 

When outdoors they can feed themselves.
